Magical Moments Wedding Video in Newport Beach

We got married in beautiful Newport Beach, California on July 12, 2014. We had the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all at the same venue with three different locations. I wanted to make it easy by having one location for all of our out-of-town traveling guests.

There were many details I was proud of throughout the planning process. From the amazing cake to our personalized hand-painted aisle runner. We had an 18 month engagement and that helped with spreading out all of the wedding tasks. But what I am most proud of is the love of our two families blending together for eternity.

I am also so thankful for our officiant. He went above and beyond–he made everyone laugh as well as had sentimental moments. Everyone raved about him. He also stayed the next day to catch up with us to see how we were doing.

Why was WeddingMix DIY wedding video appealing for your big day?

We hired a photographer as well as a videographer, but I knew I wanted to have some extra touches that they may not have been able to capture, such as the night of our rehearsal dinner and all the little special moments that our friends could capture that a photographer and videographer couldn’t. Having WeddingMix allowed our friends and family to find details of our wedding from a point of view that was special and meaningful.

There are many special moments I want to remember forever, but my favorite is my dad wanted to have 15 minutes before the ceremony with just he and I before he walked me down. He told me how proud he was of me and that he loves to see me happy. I remember telling him not to make me cry right before we had to walk down the aisle. I wasn’t nervous, but I remember waiting for our moment to come. I took a deep breath, jumped up and down to get all the jitters out, fanned my eyes so I wouldn’t tear up, and we proceeded to walk down the aisle. I felt so happy as he shook my husbands hand and gave me away. It was a moment I will cherish for years to come.

I could truly say that it was the best day of my life. I remembered to take everything in and had a smile on my face the entire night. I remember I was so sore the next day from dancing the entire night.

Describe your wedding in one word.

Magical. It was everything I ever dreamed of and more. I wish I could relive it all over again. Thanks to WeddingMix, I can relive all of the little details I may have otherwise forgotten.
