Real advice from the bride & groom!

1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?

Our most important wedding planning decision was planning the entire weekend experience. Anthony and I wanted a wedding in a beautiful location where our friends & family could join us for a full weekend. Many of our friends & family stayed for four or five days and we had such a great time seeing them during big dinners (eating lobster & clam strips, two Cape Cod favorites!). It was truly a once in a lifetime event to have everyone together for a big, extended vacation.

2. Where did you get married?

Cape Cod, Massachusetts, in Orleans. I spent summer vacations on the Cape as a kid and it’s one of my favorite places in the world, and Anthony & I vacationed there on our own, so it was a lot of fun revisiting old childhood spots and sharing it with everyone.

3. Why was using WeddingMix appealing for your big day?

We really wanted our day documented through the eyes of the people who shared it with us. Real, hilarious and emotional footage – and wanted video from the entire weekend instead of just one day. We absolutely loved the idea of having 4 video cameras to share and to capture the weekend’s events. 4. What special moments from your wedding do you want to remember forever?

Overall, how happy we were and how much love was all around us all weekend. By the end of the weekend, everyone was together and it felt like a giant party. We just felt so loved and so excited the entire weekend. It was 100 percent the best weekend of our lives.

Watching the sunset on the beach, ended up being sunny and breezy. We just got to stand and take it all in.

Our dance party during the reception was pretty unforgettable for us. Anthony’s Grandmother was the real hit- she danced the entire night to almost every single song. Anthony’s friends were carrying him around on their shoulders at one point. We had a huge singalong circle, and one of our friends started necktie limbo.

5. How did WeddingMix help capture those moments?

We were proud of our ceremony – Anthony and I wrote our own vows and our parents were a big part of our ceremony, so it was great to get the ceremony captured from multiple points of view.
