Personal Wedding in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica

1. When it came to wedding planning, what were you most proud of?

Honestly, Jorge from Le Cameleon took care of most of the details (flowers, decorations, setup). The thing I am most proud of is my homemade Save the Dates as well as my homemade invitations. They took FOREVER but they were totally worth it!

2. Where did you get married?

Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica.

It took place in the spot where we fell in love. It was hard to get to, in the middle of the jungle and the town was totally our vibe.

3. How did WeddingMix appeal to you for your wedding day?

I loved the idea that when watching our wedding video, I could think back to my friends (Britt) and family doing the filming.

4. What special moments did you want to make sure to capture?

A destination wedding can be hectic. We only had 17 people and that was enough to feel stressed out. The night before our wedding, we had a private photo shoot, just the two of us. It was really nice to have that time, just us, to reconnect before the wedding. The photo shoot was super fun, it mostly took place in the ocean, and my mom got to stand on the sidelines and watch. It really was a special memory that I will remember forever.
