Check out these gorgeous venues below!
1. Clearwater Beach, Florida
Michaela and Vihn got married at Hampton Inn & Suites at Clearwater Beach. The newlyweds captured some gorgeous overhead footage of their special day. Watch the couple’s WeddingMix video to see their sunset ceremony and their indoor reception.
A note from the newlyweds:
Some of the things we’re proud of is finding a great venue where we could have the ceremony on the beach, and then our reception in a ball room that was connected to a rooftop outdoor patio overlooking the beach…Most of our guests thought we spent a good amount of money on our wedding. We had 60 guests at our wedding and with shopping around, comparing pricing, we were able to get good value for what we actually paid.” – Michaela
2. Dream Sands Resort in Cancun, Mexico
Joanne and her beau tied the knot on the beach at Dreams Sands Resort Cancun. Their venue’s space was large enough for all of the couple’s loved ones to dance the night away by the poolside. Did you notice how they used minimal decorations? Little touches like flowers add a romantic feel, but luckily a destination wedding requires less decor, which means one less thing to plan. When there’s already lovely scenery why mess with perfection?
3. Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina
Kelli and her groom got married at Ocean Isle inn in North Carolina. It may have been a windy day, but the sky was blue and the scenery breathtaking. All of the guests look so happy and carefree dancing under the charming gazebo by the ocean. Check out their WeddingMix that was filmed with the help of the newlywed’s loved ones. Each picture or little sweet moment gives you a glimpse into the perfect day.
4. Maya Riviera, Mexico
Bride Sarah said that it was her dream to marry Johnathan on the beach surrounded by loved ones, so that’s what they did. The couple used WeddingMix to document bits and pieces including the plane ride and reading the letters they had written for each other. The entire celebration was as beautiful as the white sandy beaches.
A note from the newlyweds:
We were so happy seeing all the amazing clips our guests got and it seemed like everyone really had fun with it! For me, the piñata was an amazing time, dancing with the balloons at the reception was too fun, and every bit of the ceremony was phenomenal and romantic but specifically, if you look closely, above our heads after we kiss and are pronounced husband and wife, a huge bird or seagull flew over us. My husband’s uncle caught it on video and said it was symbolic of our “love taking flight”. That will stay with us forever.” –Sarah
5. The Omni at Hilton Head, South Carolina
Bridgette and Jeremy opted for a wedding at The Omni at Hilton Head. A destination wedding allowed them to have a smaller guest list and spend more quality time with their loved ones. Bridgette’s flower crown really channeled the laid-back feeling of paradise
A note from the newlyweds:
We stayed at the Omni and has the ceremony right on the beach. The weather was amazing and the views were breathtakingly beautiful. We had the reception on the cabana deck there as well. It was amazing to eat dinner on the deck under the stars while listening to the ocean waves hit the beach. It was paradise for us and we can’t wait to watch our video so we can relive this moment.” – Bridgette
6. Jamaica Beach Wedding
Jennifer and her groom got married superhero style on the sandy beaches of Jamaica. After the creative photo shoot, the party moved inside where the guests celebrated the joyous day.
Make sure you take a look at the couple’s wedding video and watch until the end. They incorporated some beautiful birds eye view shots of the beaches and resort and the two of them lounging on the boardwalk. It’s truly unique!
7. Divi, Aruba
Ashley and her groom had the picture perfect wedding at the Divi in Aruba! The couple described their day as paradise, and we can see why. Between the beautiful beach ceremony and dancing the night away by the ocean side, there’s no better place to say “I do”.
A note from the newlyweds:
Aruba at the Divi All-Inclusive. My husbands parents have been traveling to Aruba for many years. It is their favorite island. They invite the “kids” every so often so I was able to experience the island for myself and meet with our wedding team back in December 2014. I fell in love with the island and knew that we picked the best destination for us. –Ashley
