Incredibly Unique Wedding in Boulder, CO

Katie and Bryan’s outdoor wedding was so incredibly unique! What an AWESOME idea to get married on a campsite so that you can celebrate your anniversaries by camping there each year!!

1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?

I am definitely most proud of my ability to stay within our $5,000 budget. It wasn’t that we couldn’t afford a big wedding, we just weren’t willing to sacrifice a small fortune for one day. We got a ton of inspiration from Pinterest and made everything we wanted. We also did it in a short six month time span. I’m really proud of Bryan and I working together to make it all happen.

2. Where did you get married?

We got married on a four wheel drive trail in Boulder, Colorado. It was basically a clearing for a camping spot, we put up tents days in advance to secure the spot and brought in white chairs. It was a beautiful spot that we actually took our engagement pictures at. We are super excited to be able to camp at the same spot we got married on our anniversary every year!

3. Why was using WeddingMix appealing for your big day?

Bryan and I are both visual people and we wanted a video to capture all the little moments and hear people’s laughter see everyone’s crazy dancing. It’s so much better than an album full of pictures you may look at a few times in your life. Instead of looking at pictures, we wanted to be able to relive our wedding through a video.
