1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?

I am most proud of the fact that I took on the role of wedding planner myself and actually pulled it off. I also made almost all the cookies and every chocolate covered pretzel myself, with some much appreciated help from my mother-in-law.

We got married at the Mother of God Chaldean Catholic Church in Southfield, Michigan.

Make sure you really keep everything minimal in the beginning. You can always add and improve things later. The unexpected, unplanned, and unforeseen will inevitably pop up and you’ll regret going full force at the start.
