1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?

There was an abundance of things that didn’t go as planned, but I was in a complete state of bliss the entire day because I was with the ones I loved. I had my new husband, my sweet daughter, family from all sides who traveled long distances to be there with us, friends we hadn’t seen in years. It was complete bliss and although I can’t say I don’t wish things had gone the way I planned, I am still over the moon about my perfect day.

One of my favorite details was the flowers! I arranged them myself with the help of my bridesmaids on the morning of my wedding. It was a fun bonding experience for us all! I especially loved going through all of the pictures and videos submitted through the wedding mix app. I love being able to experience my wedding from my guests’ points of view.

2. Where did you get married?

We had an outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception at a beautiful rustic barn venue in Poughkeepsie, Arkansas (Cherry Farm Event Barn). We had BBQ (Fox Creek BBQ, Batesville, Arkansas), cupcakes (made by a family member), and sweet tea. Our ceremony was officiated by a friend.

3. Why was using WeddingMix appealing for your big day?

WeddingMix was appealing because now we have a collection of pictures our photographer didn’t get. It’s nice to have those in addition to our professional pictures! WeddingMix was so easy to use. One thing I wish I would’ve done is printed the instruction cards for the tables and appointed someone to record our ceremony. I believe that’s the best way to use this service to its fullest potential!
