From the onset Nick and I wanted our day to be family-focused. We are so grateful to have large, close families and wanted active participation in the wedding. WeddingMix allowed for us to splurge on other areas of our wedding but still have a wedding video that captured the highlights of the night and incorporate our family in friends who traveled near and far to be with us.”- Leigh

Advice from the bride!
1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?
That I was able to plan a Buffalo wedding from Clearwater, Florida and ended with a stronger relationship with my parents than when I started! Open communication, minimal disagreements, and lots of laughter.
2. Where did you get married?
St. Louis Roman Catholic Church in Buffalo, New York. Reception at Rich’s Atrium, Buffalo, New York.
3. Why was using WeddingMix appealing for your big day?
From the onset Nick and I wanted our day to be family-focused. We are so grateful to have large, close families and wanted active participation in the wedding. WeddingMix allowed for us to splurge on other areas of our wedding but still have a wedding video that captured the highlights of the night and incorporate our family in friends who traveled near and far to be with us.
4. What were the most important moments that WeddingMix was able to capture on your special day?
We captured everything thanks to the extensive participation of our family and friends, but we are most excited for the capturing of our vows (wireless mic), special dances, and toasts.
5. What is your top wedding budget tip(s)?
Make a list of your “non-negotiables” or top 3 priorities and always keep them in mind and be willing to sacrifice other areas of the wedding for them. For us, it was the food, bar, and entertainment, so the majority of our budget went to the food, bar, and band. This did not allow for extras like a photo booth, but because the band was so fun, no one left the dance floor anyway.
