Relive Kristin and Greg’s big day in their unique wedding video through their guests’ perspective!
Here is the story of how they met in their own words:
The story of how Kristin and Greg met is just too epic for most eyes and ears, but the dialed down version is they met in 2006 through their mutual and dear friend, Jimmy Hoffman. After attending several social gatherings, they realized they were just better together. Kristin and Greg balanced each other out in ways other people were not able to do. Ever since then, Kristin has been the (vegan) cheese to Greg’s macaroni, the horizon to Greg’s sky, the sun to Kristin’s moon. You get the idea.
After about four and a half years of dating, Greg popped the question in the beautiful vineyards of Sanford Winery during their open house festival. Greg was so nervous he blurted out something which to this day he can’t remember, but it was priceless. Kristin was laughing uncontrollably and accidentally spilled wine on Greg’s back, giving him the perfect opportunity to pull out the ring. Greg then whisked Kristin away to the romantic Bacara Spa & Resort in Santa Barbara to quietly enjoy the rest of the weekend.
We just love the way the groom was put on the spot in the video and you absolutely can’t miss the unique reception entrance which, ahem, may or may not involve a bit of alcohol!
In addition, this wedding featured fabulous diy rustic detail like birchbark candle holders and twine-laced wine bottles. Love!

Hi there,
I really love the birch bark candle holders you have with the hearts cut into the side. Were those something you made or did you buy them somewhere? I would love to know any tricks you have, if they are homemade because they are gorgeous!
Thank you very much!

Hi Emily! I believe that these were bought on Etsy — but I found a DIY tutorial on how to make one just like it: http://crafts.creativebug.com/make-birch-log-candle-holders-1033.html
