We wanted something more personal (even if rough) that captured moments of our wedding that we could look back at from time to time. Advice from the bride!

1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?

We’re most proud about the fact that we spent under budget! We’re also proud that we financed and planned the whole wedding on our own. That is a big accomplishment in my opinion.

2. Where did you get married?

We got married in upstate New York. We had the ceremony at Sacred Heart Church and the reception at Blooming Hill Farm.

3. Why was using WeddingMix appealing for your big day?

4. What were the most important moments that weddingmix was able to capture on your special day?

Pre-wedding prep moments. Also the toasts our siblings made and the sweet personal message the friends in charge of the camera left was so special. Wish we had planned better and had all guests leave a message on the cameras!

5. What is your top wedding budget tip(s)?

Prioritize what is most important. The sub budgets can be flexible as long as you don’t go over your top line budget, so if you need to spend a bit more on the things that matter to you, spend less on the things that don’t make or break your wedding. If you’re crafty, DIY, but be careful, sometimes the DIY route ends up costing more than hiring a pro.
