Heartfelt Wedding at the William Penn Inn, PA
151-200, Local, Traditional, Winter, NorthEast, Inn/Bed and BreakfastCheers to bride Colleen! She tied the knot at the gorgeous William Penn Inn in Gwynedd, PA. The wedding was filled with laughter and love as the guests danced the night away. Check out her first dance, and some adorable messages from the guests in her Gwynedd, PA wedding video below!
This intimate wedding video was shot by the bride and groom’s guests. They had a fabulous time capturing the magic of the wedding with their own cameras along with the WeddingMix app!
Wedding Mix was appealing because it presented itself as an option that you could make the video footage what you wanted it to be in that you could use go pros, loaned video recorders and microphone, and even an app for you and guests to use cell phones.
I liked the idea of much more personal and real footage of our wedding day and our guests’ experiences that professionals are able to edit and create an official video. The added bonus being that you have access to all of the pictures and videos uploaded to keep as yours.” – Colleen

Advice from the bride!
1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?
I am most proud of the fact that we went with our gut feeling for most decisions. We had been given some advice and/or ideas about vendors and I had done some general research, but it is very easy to get overwhelmed by the seemingly endless options.
We ended up booking the first and only venue, photographer, florist and musicians we met with. We could see that they were great and talented people and we ultimately decided that we did not want to agonize over too many decisions.
2. Where did you get married?
We got married at a nearby church that has become our regular parish, St. Raymond of Penafort in Philadelphia. Our reception was at the William Penn Inn in Gwynedd, PA.
3. Why was using WeddingMix appealing for your big day?
Wedding Mix was appealing because it presented itself as an option that you could make the video footage what you wanted it to be in that you could use go pros, loaned video recorders and microphone, and even an app for you and guests to use cell phones.
I liked the idea of much more personal and real footage of our wedding day and our guests’ experiences that professionals are able to edit and create an official video. The added bonus being that you have access to all of the pictures and videos uploaded to keep as yours.
4. What were the most important moments that WeddingMix was able to capture on your special day?
Although our wedding day activities started about 8 am and went on through last call at the after party at 2 am, the day flies by because there is so much love, joy, laughter and dancing.
It is really special that we are able to look back on everything from unedited video footage from the dance floor to our vows at the church and many other moments in-between.
In particular, the bridal party and myself entering the church, our first dance as bride and groom, and the routine my dad and I practiced for our father- daughter dance are moments captured where I am grateful we made the decision to have video footage of our wedding day.
5. What is your top wedding budget tip(s)?
What is your top wedding budget tip(s)? Prioritize what is important for you as a couple. I recommend thinking about those who you want to invite to celebrate with you and find a realistic budget for your guest list and not the other way around.
We could not be happier with our reception and vendors, but it was really our friends and family there that made our wedding day the most special day.
