Megan + Brian | Playfully Personalized Wedding in Philadelphia @WeddingMix
Today’s Wedding Wednesday is written by Philadelphia wedding planner, Tonia Adleta of Aribella Events, who had a blast planning all the stunning details of Megan and Brian’s August wedding. Read on to hear how this beautiful couple personalized their wedding by using Philly-inspired favors, Italian styled accessories, and (best of all) a ton of DIY glitter!
Megan and Brian’s wedding is all about the personal touch – and the sparkle. Guests arrived at the Sofitel and DoubleTree Hotels, greeted by custom gift bags and liberty bell-shaped cookies, and had the option of riding the double-decker bus on a guided tour thru the city before the festivities began.
When Megan and Brian chose the Please Touch Museum to host both their wedding ceremony and reception, they knew the venue would fit perfectly with their playful sides, as well as boast great architecture and ambience.
Set against a stage of black and white with plenty of silver sparkle, the wedding was filled with personal details, such as the groom’s suit, created for him by the bride’s uncle in Italy and the DIY-glittered table numbers.
The night finished with a bang as the guests created a aisle of oversized sparklers for Megan and Brian, down the steps of the museum and off into “happily ever after.”
