15k Lake House Wedding in Lee’s Summit, Missouri
$10-20K, 50-100, Destination, Indie, Summer, Midwest, OutdoorCheers to bride Ali! She had a $15K Lake House Wedding in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. The wedding was the perfect summer celebration of such an occasion with gorgeous table decor, and beautiful scenery. Hear the bride and groom read their vows, and even see the entire family start a dance floor frenzy in their video below!
This fun wedding video was shot by the bride and groom’s guests. They had an excellent time capturing the ceremony and dance floor shenanigans using their own cameras along with the WeddingMix app.
Our wedding was so small and intimate, we didn’t want to be followed around and directed by a videographer with a big production. We wanted to capture the natural moments as they happened, instead of having a “Hollywood” version of our day. But it was still important to have a video to remember the occasion and the special words and moments that took place. Wedding Mix seemed to be the perfect solution to capturing our day on video without being too invasive.” – Ali

5 Tips from a Pro to Write Your Own Wedding Vows
Real advice from the bride and groom!
1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?
This was a second wedding for my husband and I, and we made it exactly what we wanted it to be – very small, intimate, romantic and fun! We focused on our own relationship, our children and our families to make it a relaxed and enjoyable day for all of us.
We wrote our own ceremony to not only bond us in marriage, but also blend our families with special vows to each other’s children. My husband’s brother got ordained and officiated for us, which made it very personal and also, full of laughter!
