17K Traditional Wedding in Auglaize County, OH
$10-20K, 200+, Local, Traditional, Spring, Midwest, ChurchCheers to Bride Megan! She had a $17k traditional wedding at St. Augustine church. Her wedding was a reminder why we all enjoy celebrating such an occasion. Watch a series of hilarious toasts, and see the bride and groom jet towards marriage on a golf cart in their video below!
This sentimental wedding video was shot by the bride and groom’s guests. They were able to capture the joy with their own cameras along with the WeddingMix app. With 500 people at the ceremony, WeddingMix was a great way for everyone to join in on the celebration!
My husband and I are both very budget conscious people, so every detail of the wedding we looked if it was a splurge or a save aspect. Talking with people, I got the general consensus that having a video was nice, but if it was too long then you never sit down to watch again. I also have talked to people that spent thousands of dollars on a videographer and the thought of that alone made me shudder-no matter how high quality it would be! Another appealing aspect of WeddingMix was being able to get pictures from everyone. With 650 guests invited, there was just no way for us to talk with each person who came to help us celebrate.”-Megan

Advice from the bride!
1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?
2. Where did you get married?
We got married in the church I grew up in, St. Augustine Catholic Church. We were married by Fr. Larry Hemmelgarn (my Dad’s cousin) who also married my parents 32 years ago. Our reception was held at a local reception hall that holds lots of people- 500+.
3. Why was using WeddingMix appealing for your big day?

4. What were the most important moments that WeddingMix was able to capture on your special day?
I love the video someone captured of me dancing with my grandpa and Dan dancing with my grandma. A few other highlights I love include our exit “car” (golfcart) from the church and Dan doing a trust fall with his groomsmen.
