20K Outdoor Wedding at the Terrace at the Park in Queens, New York
$10-20K, 50-100, Local, Modern, Summer, NorthEast, Banquet HallCongratulations bride Amanda! She walked down the aisle at her super outdoor wedding in Queens. The wedding was a joyous and heartfelt affair filled with laughs and love. Hear the couple’s vows as they as they profess their love in front of a couple of super guests of honor in their fun wedding video below!
This gorgeous wedding video was shot by the bride and groom’s guests. They had a fabulous time capturing everything from the ceremony to scuba adventures with their own camera along with the WeddingMix app.
Using WeddingMix was appealing to us because we already had a few vendors we knew would be present and didn’t want a ton of people wandering back and forth that were not wedding guests. We were also on the fence about having a videographer, and WeddingMix seemed like a great cost effective option that would produce something we’d watch over and over again.”- Amanda

Advice from the bride!
1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?
We were able to pick great services. We have little knowledge about flowers, but we picked a great florist, and we were most concerned about whether people would enjoy themselves and we were able to pick a great DJ.
2. Where did you get married?
We got married at Terrace on the Park in Queens, New York.
3. Why was using WeddingMix appealing for your big day?
Using WeddingMix was appealing to us because we already had a few vendors we knew would be present and didn’t want a ton of people wandering back and forth that were not wedding guests. We were also on the fence about having a videographer, and WeddingMix seemed like a great cost effective option that would produce something we’d watch over and over again.
4. What were the most important moments that WeddingMix was able to capture on your special day?
Our vows and our song. We wrote personal vows that truly reflected our relationship and it was a joy to be able to see them again. We also sang a duet during the reception, which was one of our most intimate moments of the night and we were happy to know we could watch that moment in the future.
5. What is your top wedding budget tip(s)?
Tip 1: Keep track of all purchases, whether they’re yours or not. We mostly kept track of the things we paid for, not things that were paid for by our parents that helped out. It’s also important to make sure anything covered by relatives factors in to the overall amount, especially if you wind up being responsible for part of those amounts. Tip
2: Count the little things. We didn’t really keep track of all the small items that needed to be purchased, like extra ceremony and reception decor or how much vendors might need to be tipped due to last minute changes. This led to some surprises and extra stress we could have done without.
