1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?
I think the part that I am most proud of is trusting the experts. I can Pinterest all I want, but the florist is going to be more knowledgeable about realistic centerpieces than I ever will be. I provided all of my vendors with pictures of what I liked, but then I let them do their thing. I think it helped keep good relationship with my vendors and everything turned out beautifully and my day went perfectly.
I have no regrets. You are paying them large sums of money, get your moneys worth and trust them! I’m also happy that I splurged to get the backdrop for the head table. I also took about 45 minutes with the photographer at the reception to get pictures with friend groups. I had an amazing time dancing but I’m going to be so happy I took the time to get those pictures!
2. Where did you get married?
Our ceremony was at Zion Lutheran Church in Ann Arbor MI. Our reception was at Zuccaro Banquet Hall in Chesterfield Mi. (Logistically a nightmare I do not recommend your ceremony and venue be 1+ hours apart)
3. Why was using WeddingMix appealing for your big day?
It was a cost effective way to have a wedding video because we just couldn’t afford a traditional videographer.
4. What were the most important moments that WeddingMix was able to capture on your special day?

5. What is your top wedding budget tip(s)?
Buy from resale sites and Facebook pages and elicite friends and family when appropriate (but probably not for photography). My friend is the music director at my church and I asked her to do the music for my wedding, she did it as my gift but we gave the entire praise band thank you bags (still way less than hiring a band). I used a zillion spreadsheets to keep organized too.
