25K Wedding in Vaughan, Ontario
$20-30K, 101-150, Local, Traditional, Summer, Canada, ChurchCongratulations Fiorina and Matthew! They walked down the aisle at their 25K Wedding in Vaughan, Ontario. Their wedding was truly stunning with unbelievable table decor, and beautifully made bouquets. See them have their first dance, and even hear an epic accordion solo in their video below!
This fun-filled wedding video was shot by the bride and groom’s guests. They had a fantastic time capturing everything from the vows to candid late night moments with their own cameras along with the WeddingMix app.
I liked the simplicity of using WeddingMix. I knew many would be taking video and pictures but I might not have seen them if I didn’t have WeddingMix. A big deciding factor was cost – I looked at traditional videography and could not afford it.”- Fiorina

Advice from the bride!
1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?
I did a lot of research and planning early in the engagement which greatly helped me along the way – I got all the big stuff done nearly a year before the event and that meant less stress (which was good especially since in the middle of wedding planning, I was accepted into a college program which I began this past January.
2. Where did you get married?
Matthew and I got married in Toronto, Ontario. We married at the church were we met six years ago when he joined the children’s ministry I run (we now co-teach Sundays). Both sets of parents were married in the same church 30 years ago (his) and 35 years ago (mine….in fact our ring bearer carried my parents wedding pillow down the aisle!).
We took our pictures at James Gardens park in Etobicoke where our parents did their photos as did Matthew’s sister and husband (who were in our bridal party). The reception was at L’Azzura Ballroom in Vaughan – they have amazing food, great bar selection and wonderful staff.
We were there for a different event several years ago and the wonderful service put them high on our list of potential venues.
3. Why was using WeddingMix appealing for your big day?
I liked the simplicity of using WeddingMix. I knew many would be taking video and pictures but I might not have seen them if I didn’t have WeddingMix. A big deciding factor was cost – I looked at traditional videography and could not afford it.
4. What were the most important moments that WeddingMix was able to capture on your special day?
WeddingMix captured candid moments from the reception –we were being pulled from one thing to another and I can’t wait to see the party from everyone else’s perspective.
5. What is your top wedding budget tip(s)?
My top wedding budget tip is to do your research.
- get 2-5 quotes from different places
- meet with vendors if possible to get a feel for their work,
- if you are crafty or know people – DIY! ( I made my bridesmaids bouquets as well as the other floral and centerpieces),
- know when to ask for help – call on your bridal party to help…it’s what they are there for!
