1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?

I’m most proud that I put in the time and energy to organize the entire planning process because it made the wedding run so smooth. We didn’t have any issues and it was a flawless, wonderful day. I loved every minute of it.

2. Where did you get married?

Park Hyatt Chicago located on Michigan Ave.

3. Why was using WeddingMix appealing for your big day?

We wanted a video of our wedding but after pricing out a few professional videographers, we decided we didn’t want to spend a big chunk of our wedding budget on it. We heard about WeddingMix through our photographer and thought it was a great idea! I have a cousin who went to NYU film school so I put her in charge of three cameras to film the entire day while one of my bridesmaids was in charge of the fourth camera to get an insider view of the day.

4. What special moments from your wedding do you want to remember forever?

Every aspect of the wedding was important in different ways, but I’m most excited to have the ceremony, first dances and the impromptu speech given by my 8 year old niece which was the cutest thing ever.

Start planning as early as possible so you can shop around for the best deals. I was able to get special rates by booking well in advance. Etsy is a life saver for items such as the ring bearer’s box, flower girl basket, wine unity ceremony box, etc.
