Tell us what part of your wedding planning you are most proud of.
I am most proud of the little details that I spent time agonizing over — for instance, personalized cocktail napkins, a handmade guest book with little envelopes and coordinating cards, the signs I made, and the cards we gave out to the bridal party and guests (these really cute timelines, WeddingMix/Instagram info, etc). It all came together so beautifully when paired with our amazing florals, lighting,and decor.

Where did you get married?
We got married in the Palace Ballroom at The Merion in Cinnaminson, NJ.

Tell us why using the WeddingMix app was appealing for your big day?

The WeddingMix app was appealing for our big day because there is no better way to see your wedding than through the eyes of the people you love the most — your friends and family. There’s nothing that beats that experience. Also, it was easy for our guests to use, and unlike traditional videography, you can capture memories for an entire weekend and not just one night.

What special moments from your wedding do you want to remember forever?
All of it?? Haha. Let’s see — the rehearsal dinner, it was such a memorable and special way to kick off the weekend. Getting ready in the morning with all of my bridal party, the beautiful ceremony, the insane cocktail hour and dessert buffet, the speeches at the wedding and the rehearsal dinner, and dancing the night away…

How did WeddingMix help capture those moments?
WeddingMix helped capture those moments simply by being available! Unlike a traditional videographer, we were able to get video clips and photos from the moment the rehearsal dinner started all the way until the end. Also, because there were multiple cameras and “videographers” we were able to capture more moments than could be done by a solo videographer…more man power!

Anything else you’d like to share on your post?

First and foremost, everyone should get a wedding video. Honestly, I was never big into having a wedding video. I had seen some I didn’t love, and, they can get pretty expensive. I decided initially I wanted that money to go elsewhere. However, we discovered WeddingMix and it sounded like such a fun and unique idea (and was reasonably priced), so we decided to go for it. Well, my dad unexpectedly fell very ill.

2 months prior to our wedding and he was unable to attend. We are now more thankful than ever that we will have these memories to show him..and you can’t put a price on that. We are so excited to see the final product, and we are forever grateful to our friends and family who helped to capture our special weekend.
