Real advice from the Bride & Groom!

1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?

The whole thing! I pulled off a destination wedding in about 118 days. I went with Our Adventure Starts Here theme with maps and mountains and a rustic twist. I hand made all the invitations and save the dates and some Colorado themed welcome bags.

My boss who is like or the Mom was a huge help. She made all the decorations and also was ordained to marry us. My best friend baked our cake and our good friend was our photographer. It is truly amazing with help of our friends and family we did it all beside the dinner for the wedding.

2. Where did you get married?

We got Married in Westcliiffe, Colorado at Red Rock Ranch. It is a beautiful property surrounded mountain valley of the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. The view is surreal! The rustic ranch includes three houses and accommodates up to 40 guest for a wedding. It was perfect for our in state destination wedding at a reasonable cost.

3. Why was using WeddingMix appealing for your big day?

I found WeddingMix one week before my wedding. It was a relief to have the opportunity to use the service for my big day. My whole wedding was DIY so WeddingMix gave me the chance to have a wedding video and a very efficient way of collecting all my guest photos.

Mark’s smile on his face all day, my boss marrying us, our laughter and fun during the ceremony, feeding ourselves cake …. I could go on and on I want to remember all of it forever!
