Real advice from the Bride & Groom!
1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?
We had almost everything done 2 weeks beforehand, which resulted in me being a super chill bride. I also loved seeing our vision pulled off in real life. Michigan football is such a huge part of our lives, but I didn’t know how well it would come across in an actual wedding reception.
2. Where did you get married?
St. Hyacinth in Detroit. I (the bride!) was the 4th generation in my family to get married there and one of the stained glass windows was bought in honor of my great-great grandmothers.
3. Why was using WeddingMix appealing for your big day?
We loved the option to see the wedding through our guests eyes. We had almost 300 people in attendance and knew there was NO way we’d be able to see every part of the day. It’s been great to see some of the video footage from people’s tables and see the goofy antics.
4. What special moments from your wedding do you want to remember forever?
Seeing each other for the first time (both of us say this!). I (the bride) will never forget Jeff’s face or how long he marveled at my secret dress! We also loved how everyone stood up and sang the Michigan Fight song during our grand entrance, it was far from expected!
5. How did WeddingMix help capture those moments?
WeddingMix let our guests capture the unexpected, like the Michigan fight song or our friends serenading us.
