Jason + Sasha: Dueling and Dancing in Ottawa!

On guard! In Canada’s capital a wonderfully unique wedding filled with fencing battles stormed the capital!

Fencing was encouraged and duels took place as Jason and Sasha rocked Ontario! Any wedding where margaritas are plentiful and dancing is strongly encouraged sounds like an excellent time! Jason and Sasha show us that they really do know how to balance class and fun! This gorgeously planned wedding is one to inspire, and hopefully showcase  how you can have an affordable and pleasing wedding.

Meanwhile, Sasha’s fun loving nature is obviously contagious, as everyone shown can’t seem to stop smiling and dancing their night away! This lovely couple knows how to complement each other, and look stylish and classy while doing so!

Jason details that he and his groomsmen  were all members of the University of Prince Edward Island Fencing club “which is where we they became friends.  We ended up spreading across the country and (as we get older) although none of us really fence as much as we used to when I brought up the idea of just taking the a few pictures with the gear everyone was pretty excited about the idea. The group all stays in touch as part of https://www.facebook.com/flashfencingottawa. Formal wear and fencing don’t make the best mix, but we made it work.  We were just supposed to take a few photos, but it was actually the idea of my group that we take the gear to the venue and try and fencing a bit at the lake.” With a handy wedding app like Storymix Jason was able to capture some of these wonderful spontaneous moments seen in their wedding trailer footage!
