1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?

I think we are most proud of our commitment to make the wedding our own and super lovey dovey mushy weird personal and catered to us. It wasn’t like all the other weddings we see and felt it was truly one of a kind and what we wanted.

We are also proud to say we had the wedding and reception at the groom’s parents’ home and proud of all the hard work that we, our family, and our friends put in over the past year and a half to make it all come together and happen.

2. Where did you get married?

We got married in our very rural hometown of Shermans Dale, Perry County, PA at the groom’s, Tommy Lightner, parents’ home.

We aren’t sure what everyone captured on the app or on the provided cameras, but we hope it was moments they found to be important or memorable and their view and experience of our day!

5. What is your top wedding budget tip(s)?

We would say start early and plan ahead of time in order to give yourselves time and options to shop around and decide what’s important to the both of you to splurge on and what you are okay with getting cheap.

It’s a balance of give and take to have what you want for your one special day, but also not to go broke in the process. We also would say don’t stress about it too much and just pray and God will bless you with an outpouring of generosity and help from loved ones around you.
