1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?

I am most proud of the decor and theme and how it all came together! I am also proud of all that I was able to accomplish in less than 8 months from engagement date to wedding date!

We got married at Glendale Golf & Country Club in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Although we were having an actual videographer at our wedding, it was appealing to us as well to have our guests capture our wedding in their own way! We wanted to see it from their eyes!

The most important moments that WeddingMix was able to capture at our wedding were the candid moments, the ceremony, the decor and the party!

6. What is your top wedding budget tip(s)?

To stick to my budget I did a lot of research on different companies and shopped around a lot until I found places that were within my budget and that would still do amazing work! I wasn’t willing to compromise the quality of anything so I didn’t want to just pick the first reasonably priced company I could find. I spent a lot of time online first looking at companies websites and emailing them for prices. I also made my own invitations, ceremony programs, menus, seating chart and some of the decor which helped cut costs. I found a great company online to buy my specialty paper from called Paper Garden for the invitations and then bought bulk ivory cardstock from Staples for everything else!
