1. What are you most proud of with your wedding planning?

We are most proud of the fact that we did it all by ourselves! We planned and put together the entire wedding with the help of great family and friends. In doing so, we were able to add our personal touches in every area of our big day.

2. Where did the wedding take place?

We got married in Grand Island, Nebraska. This location is neither of our hometowns, but rather a place somewhere in the middle!

4. What were some special aspects of your wedding that you wanted to hold onto forever?

Going into the wedding, a huge goal of ours was to make this a day that our guests could enjoy with us. Leaving the wedding, we want to remember the love that we felt for one another that day… and how seemingly impossible it felt to know that that love will only continue to grow.

WeddingMix allowed for our guests to enjoy and feel a part of the wedding before, during, and after the big day. Heading into the wedding, guests knew of the app and were able to browse and post pre-wedding photos.

One the day of, guests could add whatever photos and videos their heart desired. Family and friends left us heartfelt messages and images of the love they have for one another, as well as, captured the predetermined moments we would cherish forever. We found that many of our friends and family continue to relive that special day by posting and viewing the numerous accounts of our unforgettable wedding.

6. Do you have a top budgeting tip for bride’s currently planning their weddings?

Set a realistic budget BEFORE you start looking for vendors and accessories. The key is to know how much you can truly afford so you can search for vendors in your price range. No matter what that budget is, you will be satisfied with the outcome.
