1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?

I grew up riding and showing horses and since our venue was a farm, I wanted to incorporate horses into the wedding somehow. I was able to do this by hiring Carolina Weddings and Wagons to bring my dad and I down to the ceremony site in a horse and carriage and then my husband and I left in the carriage after the ceremony.

2. Where did you get married?

We got married at Adaumont Farm in Trinity, North Carolina!

3. Why was using WeddingMix appealing for your big day?

At first I didn’t think I wanted to do a video because we had two photographers but then I talked to couples who regretted not having a video to look back on and show their children. WeddingMix appealed to me because it seemed like a great way to capture different moments throughout the day to keep forever and it was extremely affordable.

4. What special moments from your wedding do you want to remember forever?

I want to remember how happy my parents were, how proud my dad was when he walked me down the aisle, and how much I love Zane and our excitement that we both have to start our lives together.

Wedding Mix captured the fun and serious moments throughout the day. The guys got ready together at the Gentlemen’s lodge and shot skeet all morning while the girls got their hair and makeup done. Those were fun times that we were able to capture in addition to the serious moments.

6. What is your top wedding budget tip(s)?

Garage sales!! Everyone likes to sell their wedding decor in garage sales after they get hitched so get up early on Saturday morning and go garage saying. You will be very surprised at what you will find!
