1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?

The fact that we got through planning an intra-cultural wedding on the opposite coast without a wedding planner and without eating each other’s heads off.

Terrain at Styers, in Glen Mills, PA

We thought that it would be a great way to get our friends and family more involved in the wedding, and indeed, they got REALLY into it. 5. What is your top wedding budget tip(s)?

Shopping around for prices across vendors to get the best rate really helped us out. We also spent a lot of time evaluating a DIY option vs getting a vendor for certain things.

We weighed the cost of going with the vendor option vs the level of effort and stress it would take for us to implement something ourselves and most of the time, with a bit of research we did find vendors that were within our price range. Also, don’t be afraid to use startup vendors, they often offer the best rates and provide exceptional service.
