Tell us what part of your wedding planning you are most proud of.
Our main goal was to have a day really centered around the celebration of love between us and our love for our friends and family. It was such a fun and sincere day, and I love that a lot of guests have told me afterward that our wedding was ‘very Matt and Sarah’.
Where did you get married?
We got married at a historic plantation home in Eastern North Carolina. It is close to my hometown and surrounded by beautiful farmland. We had shuttles to nearby Greenville, NC, where our out-of-town guests stayed.
Why was using the WeddingMix app appealing for your big day?
I love our photographer and knew she would give us beautiful professional images from the day, but we wanted some kind of video of the important moments as well. WeddingMix was perfect because it was affordable, unintrusive (unlike professional videographers I’ve seen at other weddings), and a fun thing for the guests to do. It was also neat to incorporate video and photos from all the pre-wedding events.
What special moments from your wedding do you want to remember forever?
Getting ready with the girls before the wedding, saying our vows, my Dad’s cute speech, and dancing with our friends and family.
How did WeddingMix help capture those moments?
Having video footage of all these moments are priceless. Being able to watch them them again was like re-living the day. We even got to see some moments we missed – like our guests coming in before the ceremony.
Anything else you’d like to share 🙂
Just that it was really helpful to assign certain friends to grab the cameras and capture specific memories. I’d definitely recommend doing this!
