1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?

The way it all came together to make a seamless, fun, love-filled day! We put a lot of work into thinking through details and hiring reliable vendors, and on the day of we just sat back and soaked it all in (thanks in huge part to our planner/ day-of coordinator, Marieé Weddings!)

2. Where did you get married?

Piedmont Community Hall in Oakland, CA.

3. Why was using WeddingMix appealing for your big day?

We weren’t interested in a highly produced wedding video, and were planning to skip the whole thing, but then realized that we would want recorded memories of the wedding day. We’d heard from other people that it goes by so fast, you miss special moments, and that you can’t always even remember the parts you were there for because of all of the emotions. We definitely found that to be true! We also thought having our friends and family record would feel more intimate, especially for guest interviews.

4. What special moments from your wedding do you want to remember forever?

Toasts, moments from the ceremony (vows, grandfather officiating), some wild dance moves from our friends, seeing how happy our guests were (especially our parents!).
