1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?

Our favorite part of our planning was picking the music for the ceremony and reception. We had a lot of fun picking all our songs that we thought our guests would enjoy! We also really liked booking the donut truck we had. It was awesome!

3. Why was using WeddingMix appealing for your big day?

We chose to use Wedding Mix because we really liked the aspect of having our guests take videos, because it felt like we could see our wedding from a different perspective. 4. What were the most important moments that WeddingMix was able to capture on your special day?

I liked that it was an app, so our wedding party could take videos before the wedding. For example, a bridesmaid took videos of us getting ready and jamming out in the car on the way to the ceremony. Those are moments a videographer couldn’t get, so I love that it could be that personal and fun.

5. What is your top wedding budget tip(s)?

Prioritize your budget. Spend money on what you and your partner really care about, and what you’ll care about 20 years down the road. For example, I cared way more about the photos than the flowers. So, I “DIYed” what I could but spent money on an amazing photographer. Also, don’t spend a lot on invitations or paper goods. Yes, they’re pretty – but eventually they’ll be thrown away!
