Personal Wedding in Shoreview, MN

Tim and Jodi’s wedding was one for the storybooks – you can feel the love between the two of them just looking at them! From clever DIY ideas to a super fun father daughter dance – this is one wedding you won’t want to miss!

1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?

I was really proud of how much of the decorations I made. I love to do crafts and I tried to make everything DIY. We had an anchor theme to our wedding, as Christ is our anchor, and our family and friends.

2. Where did you get married?

We got married at St. Odilia’s in Shoreview, MN. It was a beautiful wedding. Our reception was at Silverwood Park in Minneapolis, MN.

3. Why was using WeddingMix appealing for your big day?

I thought it was affordable , and it was very unique to be able to capture the guests perspective. It would be fun to get all our guests involved in our wedding and to add a personal touch.

4. What special moments from your wedding do you want to remember forever?

My dance with my dad. We love sports and I had the DJ play “jump around” for him. It is a WI Badger tradition. My dad’s welcome speech. The beautiful location of the reception, our lanterns and the smores and candy bar. The guest’s loved the photo booth. Basically, I will remember all it forever.

5. How did WeddingMix help capture those moments?

It captured my dad’s speech and all our toasts and all the special dances. It was so nice to see it live, our vows and all the moments that we could have forgotten, we can watch over and over again.
