We made it fun, nothing too serious.
We had gold dinosaurs as part of the centerpieces. I remember being nervous about kids messing with them, and it was the adults that did! I was so happy because it gave people joy and 90% of them were taken home.

We cut back on having things like glass plates and silverware. Went with plastic instead. We had to cut back on somewhere. Our budget was half of the average wedding. Not that we would have wanted to spend more anyway, it’s just one day. And it was the best day of my life! I wouldn’t change a thing.
