Advice from the bride!

1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?

We are most proud of sticking to our plan and making our day exactly as we wanted in spite of everyone and everything that worked against us.

2. Where did you get married?

We got married at a little pavilion in a park near our house, we had the reception at the same place right after! (We rented it out for a small fee, we didn’t just show up there)

3. Why was using WeddingMix appealing for your big day?

WeddingMix was appealing for us to choose because we wanted the view of our guests to shine through in our wedding video, being able to remember the day from so many different points of view is awesome. 4. What were the most important moments that weddingmix was able to capture on your special day?

Having WeddingMix allowed us to capture so many moments of our day, from getting ready, to walking down the aisle, to greeting our loved ones & sharing our first dance. It seems simple but even just the organization of WeddingMix makes the process that much easier. Searching through our friends pages on Facebook and Instagram, I thought no one got footage of our kiss! We were so happy to find a couple different viewpoints of the kiss on our WeddingMix website page. I think that not having enough footage is always a worry but, honestly we just mentioned it to our friends and family the night before and we have multiple points of view of every part of our day and it makes for a really cool video!

5. What is your top wedding budget tip(s)?

Top wedding budget tips would be to first, create a budget and STICK to it, we were able to do this by asking the vendors if they had any basic rates since we did not need entire packages. We kept our wedding very basic and I suppose, to some people, small- we had around 70 people.
