1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?

The ceremony was one the the things we were most proud of. We were married by our friend James and we wanted it to be a personal event. Matt and I wrote the ceremony together and created our own vows. Another thing I was proud of was my choreographed dance with my dad! We practiced a lot to make it fun and entertaining,

5. What is your top wedding budget tip(s)?

Prioritize what you want to spend on! I knew that the decorations and the photographer were two things that were very important to me. Therefore, I hired a decorator and found a photographer that I really liked. We also had our wedding on a Friday, which saved us $5,000 on the veune. I was able to take that money and use it else where in the budget.

Always watch out for deals! We got our invitations for less than $250 on Wedding Paper Divas with a groupon and got so many compliments on them! Also, spread out your spending for gifts. Buy a little at a time so you don’t feel overwhelmed right before the wedding.
