Tell us what part of your wedding planning you are most proud of.
I’m most proud of us keeping everything during the planning in perspective. I feel that we didn’t get caught up in the mania of the industry but were still able to have a beautiful wedding that we were extremely happy with, and our guests had a great time, too.

Where did you get married?

We got married on Long Island at the Wind Watch Golf & Country Club in Hauppauge, NY. They have a beautiful outdoor ceremony area and floor-to-ceiling windows inside the ballroom. It was perfect for our daytime wedding.

Part of keeping everything in perspective during the planning was that we didn’t want to spend thousands on a wedding video, but we did want to have some kind of video memento of the day.
