This is what beautiful bride Leiah had to say about her very special wedding day:

“It was in Moyock, North Carolina on my parents farm. Karen and Corey Speer. We wanted rustic farm wedding but different. So we added our own touch of America and sunflower patches. Oh and of course the baby goat. The groom and groomsmen walked out to SLAYER. Yes, slayer. Then the bridesmaids walked to a Hunter Hayes cover by Boyce Avenue called Wanted and I walked down the aisle with my parents to a Christina Perri cover by Boyce Avenue called A Thousand Years.

It rained its butt off all the way up to the point of me walking out of my dads truck to start the walk down the isle (my bridesmaids rode in the back of the truck taking on the rain … They are the BEST bridesmaids).

My parents worked day and night to turn their barn into a “venue” for me. My dad hand built that backdrop (the giant barn door we stand in front of to say our vows…). He built the bar as well as all of our crates. Even our cornhole boats which we had everyone in the family and bridal party sign the back of.

Oh and for our unity, we rode to the back of the property just my husband our daughter and myself (and the photographer) to shoot our handmade target I made at the same time.

Our whole families came into town. Chad’s parents and grandparents came a few days early and helped put everything together with my parents and it was awesome!

Oh we had a live country band called The Cody Austin Band and the DJ was DJ Icarus.

Our first dance was beautiful!!! My sister also the maid of honor sang john legends all of me and a good friend of ours miles Mulkey plaid acoustic guitar while she sang it. It couldn’t have been more perfect. My daughter and I danced after to Kate Earls “one woman army” that had everyone in tears.

We did our father daughter and mother son dance together to Rascal Flatts My Wish!
