1. What part of your wedding planning are you most proud of?

I am most proud of how the decor for the day turned out! We made almost everything ourselves and it really made the day special. My husband was ready to make anything I requested.. from a giant connect 4 game to vintage picture frames. We had a lot of family helping out from thrift store hunting to hand crafting flower arrangements and decorating mason jars. It all came together so perfectly in the end, and really made our wedding the dream we had visualized in our minds.

2. Where did you get married?

We got married at The Evergreen Village, which is a property just outside Winnipeg Manitoba, near Niverville.

3. Why was using WeddingMix appealing for your big day?

I saw WeddingMix on Pinterest and fell in love with the idea! I really wanted a guest perspective of the day because you really just can’t be there for all the fun special moments that happen. We liked the idea of the guests getting involved with capturing the day as well, and it really paid off, we got some great footage.

4. What were the most important moments that WeddingMix was able to capture on your special day?

We captured our ceremony and all the speeches at the reception. We were able to capture the wedding party pumping up for the ceremony by dancing to “eye of the tiger”! We caught some fun moments of the guest playing lawn games.

5. What is your top wedding budget tip(s)?

I tried so hard not to break the bank! The best thing I could say is try and keep decor prices down because they can add up so fast! I did my research and made sure I really wanted something before I chose to purchase it. Choose what is important to you and spend your money there! and go with your gut!
